Serr variety to which all rootstocks were (!.raftedhas grown and produced on all rootstock selections although some have grown faster and produce more than others. Northern California Black Walnut (Juglans hindsii) and ~. major grow to moderate size and have good production potential. The paradox seedling, paradox cutting and Royal seedling grow to large size and have a good production potential. The Eureka seedling grows to moderate size with a moderate production potential. The manregian and J. rupestris seedlings grow very slowly, irregularly and produce moderate to small size crops. ( cont.)
